Mission Statement
St. Matthew's Episcopal Church pledges itself to proclaim the redeeming love of God and the healing of the human spirit through His grace. We shall do this by building up our parish community, dedicating ourselves to the support and development of each individual; by providing an atmosphere of welcome to all; by being faithful to our Anglican heritage; and by showing genuine concern for the needs of others beyond our own community.

Prayer for St. Matthew's
Almighty and ever living God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayer for this parish family. Strengthen us, arouse us, restore us. Grant us all things necessary for our common life within your holy Church.
Direct us in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and further us with your continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy Name.
Grant us, in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would have us to do, that the Spirit of wisdom may save us from false choices, and that in your light we may see light, and in your straight path we may not stumble; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
