Mission Statement
St. Matthew's Episcopal Church pledges itself to proclaim the redeeming love of God and the healing of the human spirit through His grace. We shall do this by building up our parish community, dedicating ourselves to the support and development of each individual; by providing an atmosphere of welcome to all; by being faithful to our Anglican heritage; and by showing genuine concern for the needs of others beyond our own community.

To become a member:
By Baptism: If you are not baptized and seek to be part of Christ’s body, the Church, please tell the priest. Preparations and arrangements will be made for you.
By Letter of Transfer: It is customary in the Episcopal Church that when you move from one parish to another, you so do by Letter of Transfer. This can be accomplished by the Parish Secretary requesting a Letter of Transfer from your former parish. Once the Letter of Transfer is received, you become a member of St. Matthew’s.
By Confirmation: By attending the Inquirer’s Class and being presented to the Bishop to be confirmed by him, at his yearly visit.
